The Highland Community Care Forum Network works towards the representation of users and carers of most geographical areas and areas of interest. There are currently eleven Local Community Care Forums in Highland Region which are members of HCCF. As well as supporting a network of local forums HCCF manages several independently funded projects.
HCCF's core activities are funded by, but work independently from, Highland Council and Highland Health Board with whom we currently have a three year service level agreement. HCCF also seeks additional funding for new projects and undertaking research. In all its activities HCCF adheres to the values of inclusion and operates through community development principles, working alongside users and carers to identify their issues and local plans of action.
