The exhibition was opened by Maureen Macmillan MSP in Strathpeffer on Carers’ Rights Day. Early in 2006 it travelled to several venues across Highland, including: The Swanson Gallery, Thurso; Nairn Library; HCCF Office Inverness; Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh (for Carers Week 2006).

The portraits are now in the homes of the carers who appeared in them.
