Diana Wortham works with the Highland Carers Project as the New Craigs Carers Advocacy Worker.

New Craigs Learning Disabilities Services are due to close by the end of 2005. The residents will all be provided with homes of their own within the community, together with the support they will need to be able to live there and to get involved in community activities.

My work involves providing support, information and advocacy to the families of residents of New Craigs during this time of change, to make sure that their needs are taken into account and their voices listened to.
